The Department of Information Engineering is located on the Campus of the University of Parma, 4 km south of the town centre, on the road to Langhirano. The Campus can be reached in several ways as follows (as well as by taxi).

• By city bus from the Parma railway station. Catch buses No. 7 , 14 or 21 (twelve departures per hour, 25 mins trip). Get off at the last stop within the Campus. The Department is at walking distance in the block of buildings hosting the Engineering Departments (Address: Viale G. P. Usberti 181/A).
• By car from Parma town centre. Follow the directions to Langhirano. Drive for about 4 km then reach a large roundabout surmounted by a viaduct, turn right following the sign "Campus" (V.le G. P. Usberti).
• By car from Milan or Bologna (A1 Highway). Leave the highway at the exit "PARMA". After the tollgate keep right and follow the directions to "Tangenziale - SS 9 Via Emilia". Drive 2 km, then turn right to enter the bypass ("tangenziale") toward "Piacenza" or "Langhirano" or "Milano". Drive 4 km, then turn right to follow the direction "ExitS 10-19" and drive for 7 km following the directions to "Langhirano" or "U" (University). Leave the bypass at exit No. 15: at the nearby roundabout turn right following the sign "Campus" (V.le G. P. Usberti).
• By car from Pisa or Genoa by the A15 Highway (Autostrada della Cisa). Leave the A15 Highway at the exit "PARMA OVEST". After the tollgate please DO NOT follow the straight direction toward "Parma" (worse route) but turn right following the direction toward "Pontetaro" so entering the national route "Via Emilia" shortly after. Drive 4 km, then, at a roundabout next to the Hotel "Parma e Congressi" enter the bypass ("tangenziale") toward "Parma". Drive 2.5 km, then turn right to follow the direction "Exits 10-19" and drive for 7 km following the directions to "Langhirano" or "U" (University). Leave the bypass at exit No. 15: at the nearby roundabout turn right following the sign "Campus" (V.le G. P. Usberti).

WHEN INSIDE THE CAMPUS go straight as far as possible then after two right turns at the next road crossing turn left. Park in any of the parking lots in the area and walk to the block hosting the Engineering Departments (Address: Viale G.P Usberti 181/A). The Department is located in bldgs No. 1 to 4. The Secretary Office is in bldg No. 3: please call the number 5800 from the phone outside the building door.
